ORIGINAL PAINTINGS AND DRAWINGS

Each of these pieces is based on one of my favourite places in the Lake District. I spent a period of time at each place mindfully enjoying the surroundings and appreciating the beauty of the scene in detail. Based on sketches and photographs taken, the works are representative of the time I spent there, seeking to capture the viewpoint from where I stood or sat but also to convey the feeling and essence of the location.

They are painted using artist quality acrylic paints and are framed in a contemporary white wooden frame.​Original paintings are currently in an exhibition at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal and the Old Courthouse Gallery, Ambleside.​​
