Across Elterwater to the Langdales
As you walk along the River Brathay and round the bend as it meets with Elterwater the Langdale Pikes are perfectly framed by the surrounding mountains and reflected on the water. It is one of so many stunning vistas of the Langdale area. I loved the contrasting textures of ripples, reeds, trees and bushes, rocks, and clouds.
